During the session with this adorable little girl I kept asking her if she could see the little mouse that was visiting her.
She would look for find him and them look at me like I was so silly.
Interacting with children - telling whatever story you can to engage them- often reveals image opportunities that would other wise never happen.
Kyndall was such a quiet and sweet little girl. When I did her hair and put this beautiful printed chiffon dress on her she reminded me of a little French girl. I can't tell you why. It's just the way I saw her. She was excited to be photographed but I felt a story coming and started talking about the little mouse. We actually got some quiet giggles out of everyone, including me, as we ventured through her session.
These are the ones I selected as my artist choice and if you look very closely, you will see the little mouse that was in our story.
I love the opportunity to work with these little girls in these dresses and to find and tell their story through portraiture.

Clyde Nordan - Exquisite ! The inclusion of a wee mouse worked better than my clicker and squeaky ball. You are a treasure and so are your portraits.
